2. Core principle
MoroPlayer is a local video player. Videos you import, playback positions and settings are processed and stored on your device. MoroPlayer does not require an account and does not sell personal data.
3. Photos and files
When you choose videos from your library or file picker, MoroPlayer only receives access to files you explicitly select. This access is needed for playback and the local library. You can change permissions in your system settings.
4. Local storage
The app stores local metadata such as file name, format, thumbnail, playback progress and settings (for example default speed, subtitles or automatic full screen). This data remains on your device and is removed when the app is deleted unless backed up by your operating system.
5. Purchases and subscriptions
Annual, weekly and optional lifetime purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. MoroPlayer does not receive complete payment details. RevenueCat may process pseudonymous purchase and subscription information to validate, unlock and restore Pro access. See the RevenueCat privacy policy, Apple and Google for details.
6. Subtitles and audio tracks
Subtitles and alternate audio tracks are read from the selected video file and played locally. The app does not transmit these contents to MoroPlayer.
7. Analytics, advertising and external content
The current MoroPlayer version contains no personalised advertising and no independent advertising profile. If this changes, this policy will be updated before activation and consent will be requested where required.
8. Support
If you contact us by email, we process your email address, message and any technical details you voluntarily provide to answer your request. Support messages are deleted when no longer needed and unless legal retention duties apply.
9. Retention and rights
We process data only for the purposes described above or to meet legal obligations. Subject to applicable law, you may have rights to access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability and objection. Contact hello@moroplayer.com. You may also contact a data protection authority.
10. Changes
We update this policy when features, service providers or legal requirements change. The current version remains available on this page.
