1. Controller
The controller responsible for processing personal data in connection with the Breakup Recovery app is Sascha Koziellek, blueapps, Im Schluessel 15, 67292 Kirchheimbolanden, Germany. Contact: support@blueapps.pro.
2. Your personal content stays on your device
The app may store your first name, breakup date, personal goals, daily mood and contact-urge check-ins, notes, journal entries, and program progress. This content is stored locally on your device and encrypted using Apple system functions. It is not sent to blueapps or RevenueCat.
If you delete the app and its data, we do not have server-side copies of your personal entries and cannot restore them.
3. Subscriptions and RevenueCat
We use RevenueCat, Inc. to offer, verify, restore, and manage Premium subscriptions. RevenueCat processes a randomly generated anonymous app user identifier, purchase and subscription information, Apple receipt data, and technical information required to provide the service, such as device type, operating system, region, and the time of the latest connection.
These data are used to unlock Premium, prevent fraud, provide subscription support, and create aggregated purchase and revenue analytics. We do not send names, email addresses, journal text, moods, or advertising identifiers to RevenueCat, and we do not use RevenueCat data for advertising or cross-app tracking.
4. Payments through Apple
Payments and subscription management are handled by Apple through your Apple ID. We do not receive full payment details such as credit card or bank information. Apple processes data under its own privacy policy.
5. Email support
If you contact us, we process the contact details and message you voluntarily provide in order to respond. For EEA users, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR when the request concerns the app or subscription, and otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in providing effective support. We delete support messages when they are no longer needed and no legal retention duty applies.
6. External support services
The app may open links to independent support services such as Find A Helpline. Those services operate outside the app and apply their own privacy rules when you open them.
7. Legal bases and international transfers
For EEA users, purchase data are processed to perform the subscription contract under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR and for fraud prevention and reliable app delivery under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. RevenueCat is based in the United States. Where data are transferred outside the EEA, RevenueCat’s current Data Processing Addendum provides for appropriate safeguards, including applicable Standard Contractual Clauses.
8. Retention
Local personal content remains on your device until you delete the app data. Purchase and subscription data are retained for as long as needed to manage subscriptions, prevent fraud, provide support, and meet legal recordkeeping duties.
9. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, applicable privacy law may give you rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal data, and to complain to a competent supervisory authority. We do not sell or share personal data for targeted advertising. Send requests to support@blueapps.pro. We cannot view, correct, or restore content stored only on your device.
10. Children and teenagers
The app is not specifically directed to children. It has no account, social features, or intentional server-side collection of children’s personal journal or health information.
11. Changes
We may update this policy when features, service providers, or legal requirements change. The current version will always be available on this page.
